So im not sure what is causing the issue of it connecting to Compatibility mode of BOTH 2.4/5GHZ but its definitely the issue with this ROUTER G3100 FIOS. I never figured it out and bought another PCIE wifi card TP link Ax3000, and has worked fine since It was forced to run in Legacy mode 2.4 GHZ. Under WiFi> Advanced Settings> 5 GHZ- this will only work in Legacy Mode (802.11a/n/ac) Compatibility Mode (802.11a/n/ac/ax) WILL NOT WORKĮDIT 3: I realized that i had this issue in the past: Previously i had a Nighthawk a7000 and it couldnt connect to WIFI 6 compatibility mode as well. Under WiFi> Advanced Settings> 2.4 GHZ- this will only work in Legacy Mode (802.11 b/g/n) Compatibility Mode (802.11 b/g/n/ax) WILL NOT WORK So 2 issues are present with the G3100 FIOS router: Only thing that doesnt work is the wifi6 connection The droid prompts for the password (yes, I have checked this.), then in rapid succession indicates 'connecting' and then just drops down in the queue of available wireless networks, unconnected. The router and droid turbo are stock, with updates available applied. Ive tried changing the channel, currently on channel 149 (was on 36) I couldnt really find any isses and am able to connect to the 5ghz on many other devices.ĮDIT: wifi 2.4 ghz works getting 60 dl/40 up. My new Turbo will not connect to the Verizon FIOS supplied router. I posted this also on PS5 subreddit, but i figure i post it here as wellĪnyone has issues connecting to the 5ghz antenna of the g3100? I can connect fine to the 2.4Ghz antenna (legacy mode), but when i try to connect to 5ghz it states there is a failure an unable to connect.
